Sign companies are excellent at fabrication—but most projects involve much more than a single fabricator. You need design oversight, permit coordination, multiple vendor relationships, timeline management, and quality control at installation. A direct sign company is incentivized to sell you their products. Lattice Signworks is vendor-neutral—we work for you, not the fabricator, which means every recommendation is in your best interest.

Our process follows five structured phases: Plan (defining scope, budget, and objectives), Design (creative direction and brand alignment), Coordinate (vendor sourcing, permitting, and scheduling), Execute (installation oversight and quality control), and Deliver (final sign-off, documentation, and project close-out). Each phase has defined deliverables and communication checkpoints so you always know where your project stands.

Timeline varies significantly based on project type and complexity. A simple interior sign package may take 4–6 weeks from approval to installation. A full exterior sign with permit coordination typically takes 8–16 weeks depending on the municipality. Multi-location programs are planned on a location-by-location or phase basis. We always build your timeline backward from your target date so you know what’s required to hit it.

Yes. Permit acquisition is one of the most common pain points for signage projects, and we handle it as part of our standard project management scope. We work with local municipalities, coordinate landlord approvals, and manage the documentation required to keep your project moving forward without delays.

Our fee structure depends on the scope and complexity of your project. We typically charge a project management fee based on project size, which covers all coordination, communication, vendor oversight, and deliverable management. We provide transparent, itemized proposals so you can see exactly what you’re getting. There are no hidden markups on vendor costs.

We don’t have a strict minimum, but our managed approach delivers the most value on projects with multiple components, multiple vendors, or multiple locations. For straightforward single-sign projects, we’re happy to point you in the right direction even if a full management engagement isn’t the right fit. Absolutely. We’re vendor-neutral, which means we can work with your preferred vendors or source new ones—whatever serves your project best.
